About Azriel

I have over 10 years of counselling experience and have worked in the community sector and private practice in mental health. I have worked with cutting edge multidisciplinary clinical teams with youth and families, substance misuse, family violence and sexual assault, as well as with Lifeline, 1800Respect and Beyond Blue. I also have experience coaching EAP clients in conflict resolution, stress reduction and work-life balance and have provided supervision for social workers, psychologists, counsellors and other clients.

It is my passion to empower my clients to heal their past, sow seeds for the future, discover their essence and live a joyful life of purpose.

As a skilled psychotherapist I support clients to delve deeply into their emotions and unhealed trauma for sustained healing. I am committed to creating a kind, safe and open place for you to access your own inner wisdom to experience and embody your strengths and gifts with new skills and a creative toolbox.

I believe in lifelong learning and personal growth, and am committed to my own healing practices. I am a mother of four children and four rescue cats. I live in the Byron Bay hinterland rainforest on Bundjalung country, and love to express myself through writing, painting, piano and nature. You an read more about my story here.
